Gathering Together

"A Meaningful funeral celebration is about saying hello on the pathway to goodbye." -Dr. Alan Wolfelt

Funeral gatherings, whether traditional or more modern (memorial service or celebration-of-life), has two functions: to acknowledge the death and lifetime achievements of an individual and to bring grieving family members and friends together in support of one another during this difficult time.

Visitation: This is often called a viewing or a wake. Guests come to pay their respects to the deceased by viewing their casketed body and spending time with the grieving family. A visitation can occur at any time before the funeral service.

Funeral Service: This event commonly takes place at the funeral home, a church, or at the graveside. Essential elements can include music, the reading of literary or religious passages, a eulogy, prayer, and the singing of hymns. Our celebrant trained funeral directors capably plan a meaningful and touching ceremony to honor your loved one.

Committal Service: If the family plans to bury the deceased, this stage involves the vehicle procession to the cemetery. Cemeteries exist because every life is worth remembering.. always.

Some of our building’s features that our families and guests enjoy are....

Expansive Foyer – Our entrance extends a kindly welcome to all who enter. With a warm color scheme, elegant furnishings and thirty-foot vaulted ceilings, you immediately feel comfortable and at ease.

Well Appointed, Flexible Rooms + Extra Wide Hallways – Our rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with audio and visual aids. These rooms can also be easily reconfigured for the comfort of small groups or as many as 200 plus. Separating the rooms are extra wide hallways so that your guests will not be bumping into each other, which is a common problem at smaller funeral homes.

Special Children's Room – A time of sorrow is particularly difficult on young children. Whereas some funeral homes imply that children should stay home, at Bartolomeo & Perotto we welcome your children and provide a special children's room full of toys, games and books to keep them busy while adults gather with friends and family.

Ample Parking – With room for 336 vehicles, our parking lot ensures anyone wishing to visit you will be able to conveniently park their car, even with multiple services taking place simultaneously.
