Joe was born June 23, 1933 in Buffalo NY. He was the son of Peter, Sr. & Josephine (Impallario) Giullari and brother to Peter, Jr., Kathleen & Veronica. The 6 called Wakefield Ave in Buffalo home.

In-between Joe’s High School and College Joe served his country proudly in the US Marines from 1951-1955.
Joe was an active teenager. He graduated from Bennett High School. While at Bennett he found himself playing football, basketball, crew and playing the tuba in the band.

He found his way to college and graduated from Ithaca in 1959. He later received his PHd in Physical Therapy in 1970. Joe began serving the Niagara Falls and surrounding community as a Physical Therapist at the Niagara Falls Medical Center. He eventually became their Department Head of the Physical Therapy.
When Joe wasn’t busy at work caring for others he found himself golfing at Niagara Falls Country Club where he was a longtime member. He was the Golf Marshal for the annual Porter Cup Golf tournament.

Joe was an avid Bills fan and has held season tickets since 1971. He attended Super Bowl XXVIII of the Bills vs. the Cowboys. He and brother Peter could be found at the half time of any Bills game offering up their opinions of all that the coaches and players did wrong and what the two of them would do to correct it.

Joe had a spirited sense of style. He would regularly put on a flashy sports coat to head out on the town. His fashion sense won him a contest and was recognized by the Niagara Gazette for his effort. It was however, an ugly tie contest, the funny part of his winning this title is that he had not gone out to purposely purchase a tie to win. It was much simpler that, he just went to his own closet and pulled out one of his ties and headed out.

Joe loved a myriad of music types. He enjoyed: Italian Opera, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Big Band Music.

He enjoyed heading out to a relaxing dinner on the town at classy restaurants. His favorite meal was Osso Bucco and his favorite wine was Mateus. Joe did have a sweet tooth and chocolate called to him! If you had chocolate in hand you had better be ready. Otherwise, his fork which was on the way could find itself to your dessert!

Joe was intelligent, hard working and he always had a sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
