GREECE - January 25, 2018. Michael is predeceased by his parents, Sara & Fred Milazzo; brother Angelo Milazzo. He is survived by his wife Judy Milazzo; children, Robin Holmwood, Tina LeBel, Velvet (Dick) Jackson, Darin Milazzo, Michelle (Don) Hill, Tonya (Danne) Zeigler, several grandchildren; uncle Charles Nesta; aunts, Josephine DiNatale & Mary Milazzo; several nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law
Michael’s visitation will be Monday 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). His Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday 10:30 AM at Faith Temple, followed by his entombment in White Have Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Faith Temple, Mission's Department, 1876 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14620 in Michael’s memory.
Michael was born December 9, 1938 in Rochester, NY. He grew up with his parents Fred & Sara Milazzo on Culver rd. in the city, later the family home moved to Penfield, NY. In Michaels's early years his industrious/hardworking nature began, he began his working career working as a paper boy. During his teen years he emulated Tony Curtis. He is a graduate of East High School.
Michael's career found himself working at Delco Products. He served the company as a Shop Foreman & therafter as a Quality Analyst. Prior to working at Delco Michael found himself driving cab and was a manager at Carrol's Restaurant. As of late he was an Instructor at Weight Watcher's. He also worked part time at Tops Markets in their Photo Lab.
Michael loved Jesus with his whole heart. He was very active volunteering at Faith Temple, most notably he taught Catechism Class there. He had a love for gospel music. One of his favorite quotes was "Jesus loves you and so do I."
His love of family was evident, he enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren. He always looked forward to sitting down with the older generations of his family to listen to their stories. Anytime family history came up in discussion Michael was ready to listen and learn.
He enjoyed photography. Some of his favorite subject included: light houses, covered bridges, windmills, eagles and food. He had a passion for cars. Still to this day he has a pristine 1985 Corvette, 2003, Cadillac DHS & a 2008, Cadillac DTS. He had a love for the outdoors and could regularly be seen working abot his yard. His music tastes were varied and he enjoyed watching old movies.
Another favorite quote of his was "I'm only saying it because it is true." He was intelligent, witty, enjoyed life, had a sense of humor and always had a story to share with those he loved. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
