Spencerport: February 4, 2017. David is survived by his wife: Lisa (Perillo) Kroll; children, Juliana C. Kroll and Troy D. Kroll; sister, Cindy Kroll; brothers, Thomas & Dan Kroll; nieces & nephews.
David's visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Friday, February 10 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 & Long Pond Rd). His funeral mass will be celebrated 10AM on Saturday, February 11 at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Rochester. Interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
David was born on 12/08/1959 in Buffalo, NY, son to Chester and Catherine Kroll. His family included his siblings, Cindy,Tom & Dan. During his younger years, David was a good athlete, participating in high school football, basketball and baseball. He went onto college and earned a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Technology while at the Buffalo State University. David met the love of his life, Lisa, and they were married in 1984 in Buffalo. His professional life took him to the Eastman Kodak Company where he devoted 33 years, holding various management positions. Lisa and David started their family and were blessed with Troy and then Juliana, he truly loved spending time with his family.
The family enjoyed time with each other while camping, going to Disney World in Florida & having cookouts with family & friends. David loved to watch the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He was the best, most loving parent and husband. Everyone he met absolutely loved and enjoyed spending time with him. His favorite quote was “You can’t soar like an eagle if you hang around turkeys” & his favorite music was Classic Rock, especially Bob Seger and Guns N’ Roses. David also enjoyed watching comedy movies and play around with his children.
He will be remembered as an extremely caring and giving person. Always put everyone first before himself, the most selfless person you could ever meet. Truly liked keeping situations as light as possible & was known to have a good sense of humor. David was extremely hard working, disciplined and always paid close attentional to detail in everything he did.
