Margaret was born June 26, 1930 in Rochester NY. Her parents Gaetano & Maria Rosa made their home on Verona St. in the city of Rochester.
She attended St. Anthony’s grade school and was a graduate of Nazareth Academy. Once out of school Margaret began working for the Rochester City School District as a secretary. After 25 years of service she retired and the rest of her retired years she was very active in her grandchildren’s life.
It was a chance meeting that brought Margaret and her true love George together. George was immediately taken back by Margaret and immediately said I am going to marry her. Margaret didn’t initially share George’s enthusiasm. Their love wasn’t to be denied, the two were eventually married at St. Patrick’s Church in Rochester.
Margaret was a very faith filled person. She attended daily mass. She volunteered regularly at St. Lawrence Church.
She was an avid reader and her musical taste included the Three Tenor’s and Religious Music.
Margaret will be remembered as: strong, independent, resilient, generous, giving, serious and quiet. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
