Carol was born in Rochester NY on November 26, 1943. Her parents, Vincent & Clara DeBellis’ family consisted of two daughters Gloria & Carol. Theirs was a traditional family of their day. Clara stayed home raising their children and Vincent worked at Hickey Freeman.

She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School. She later took classes at RIT.

Carol was hardworking both at home and at her job. Through the years her titles included, administrative assistant, office manager and records clerk. She retired from Hillside Children’s Center in 2010.

Flying was never something that Carol could get herself to warm up to. She did look forward to vacationing at her sister Gloria’s cottage in the 1000 Islands.

Carol’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family. At home she could be found: cooking, baking, crocheting, working on word find puzzles, reading tabloids and gardening.

Carol had a curious side to her personality. As stated by her son Chris “she was a little bit nosy” she regularly sat by the window, so she could see the goings on outside.

Family & Friends would describe Carol as: hardworking, positive, always having a smile on her face, loving, strong & dignified.  She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
