GATES - July 9, 2018. Bonnie is predeceased by her husband, Paul Goebel & son-in-law, Alan Jensen. She is survived by her daughter Linda Kicherer; granddaughter Brittany (Richard) Donald; children, Bonny Jensen, Grant (Linda) Goebel, Leigh (Steve Gerhardt) Goebel, Charles (Cindy) Goebel; siblings, Donna Austin & Dennis Donaldson; grandsons, Brad (Stephanie) Goebel & Troy (Lisa) McKissock; dear friend Larry Delahooke, several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bonnie’s Life Story will be shared during her visitation, Saturday, July 28th, 2-4 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.).
Bonnie was born on November 2, 1934 to George & Dorothy Donaldson in Dexter, NY. She grew up with 2 siblings, Donna and Dennis. When Bonnie was 16, she moved to Rochester, NY and was considered a small town girl with a big city heart. Bonnie went on to marry Paul Goebel and had 5 children, Linda, Bonny, Grant, Leigh and Charles. Some of her favorite life events were hosting parties over the weekend and getting together to spend quality time at Stoney Lake family cottage. Bonnie enjoyed cooking and loved to entertain. She also liked to go dancing and her favorite music band was the Crooners. Bonnie was described as social, fun loving, determined and strong willed. She took pride in her appearance as she enjoyed accessorizing and always consistently maintained a classic hairstyle. Bonnie will be deeply missed and always fondly remembered by her friends and family.
