Greece: October 14, 2018. Josephine is predeceased by her husband Frank Speranza. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Valerie Lyautey) Sudore, James Sudore & Lisa (Kip) Drennon; grandchildren, Joshua (Ryan) Drennon, Vanessa (Justin) Jones, Rachel Sudore, Dehlia Drennon & Dalton Drennon; great-grandson Cameron Gumberts; sister Mickie Licata; several nieces, nephews & dear friends. Josephine’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 19th, 11 AM at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Rd., immediately followed by her interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


Josephine was born April 12, 1939. Her parents, Michael & Carmella Insalaco made their family's home in the Claybrook neighborhood.

Her passion was taking care of her family and their home. She also worked as a hairdresser. She enjoyed her time working in different shops and receiving clients in her own home.

She had a strong faith. Josephine regularly attended church and was an active volunteer. She was a member of the Third Order of Carmelite's.

Josephine had a soft spot for animals. She loved dogs, cats and birds. She regularly rescued animals and lovingly brought them into her home.

Her favorite restaurant was Olive Garden. She was a great cook and her baking skills will be missed by her family. She also looked forward to picnics sharing food and fun with family and friends.

When Josephine had free time she enjoyed watching tv. Shows that she enjoyed included, religious shows, Lifetime and especially the Hallmark Channel. Her favorite song was On Eagles Wings.

Her personality was truly unique, one of a kind! She had a heart of gold and was very generous to those she loved. She would also tell you like it is, her strong and bold persoanlity was part of who she was and helped her to be independent. When it was all said and done though you always knew you could count on her to be there for you when you needed it. Her reliable, selfless nature always shined through. She always gave of her self to God and others! She will truly be missed by all who knew her!
