Benito served in the Italian Army and began his working days as a Blacksmith. He then emigrated from Italy when he was 28 years old. He and the love of his life, Frances Infantino, were married on Thanksgiving day, Nov 23rd 1961. Benito utilized his metal working skills through working at East Side Welding, Delco Products and then with Brayley Tool and Machine where he retired after many years of service. He proudly tended to his vegetable garden & his prized fig tree. This gardening skill continued into the home with his annual canning of tomatoes and making sauce for the family. Benito enjoyed traveling with his family & loved his Lincoln. Benito’s joy was his grandchildren, he never missed their activities and loved them all equally. He was very handy and had many woodworking, metalworking and repairing projects. Relaxation came through watching Italian TV, Italian Soccer, playing cards and spending time with the grand-dogs.
