Obituary of Anthony Giralico

Tony was born June 5, 1925 in Rochester, NY and passed away on January 30, 2018. Predeceased by his wife, Mary (Allen) Giralico; parents, Constantino & Maria (Magliocchetti) Giralico; sister, Julia Cleversey; brothers, Orlando & Mike Giralico.  He is survived by his daughter, Joanne (Rick) Bishop; son, John A. Giralico;  granddaughters, Lynn A. (Derek) White & Kristy L. (Greg) Ellsworth; great-grandchildren, Tyler Ellsworth, Carter White & Lauren White; sisters, Rose Pangburn & Theresa Mayfield; sisters-in-law; many nieces & nephews.

Tony was a United States Army veteran, serving as a combat infantry man during WWII in the European Theatre. During this time he was the recipient of the Combat Infantry Man Badge, the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart. Upon returning home, Tony was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Combat Infantry Association and the Purpleheart.  He was also a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #46 for 75 years

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport NY 14450 in Tony’s memory.
