Augustine V. “Gus” Dentino

Spencerport: Predeceased by his twin baby sons;  daughter, Patricia DeMarco; son, Thomas Dentino; parents, Joseph & Grace Dentino; sisters, Mary Coppa & Elizabeth Baird; brother, Theodore Dentino; son-in-law James Barbato. Gus is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ida Dentino; daughters, Susan Dentino-Barbato & Kathy (Bob) Thornton; sons, David (Linda) Dentino & Joseph Dentino; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (Donald) Pedalino & Joyce (Vito) Arbore; brother, Anthony Dentino;  many nieces & nephews. Gus was a 27-year veteran  who served  in Vietnam and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak where he devoted 25 years of service. He was an avid bowler, a NYS umpire, a  member of Alhambra Carvan 25 and a past Grand Knight of Columbus, Council 10758.  For more information, visit

No Prior Visitation. Gus’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at St. John The Evangelist Church of Spencerport, 55 Martha St. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The courtesy of no flowers would be appreciated. Those who desire, may offer a mass for the repose of Gus’s soul.
