Annette L. Kane

Born in Brooklyn, NY October 21, 1946, and passed peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Rochester, NY.

Predeceased by her son Kevin, parents Santa & Frank Marino, sister Dr. Nancy Marino. Survived by her daughter Colleen (Matt) Indiano, grandchildren Madeline & Matthew, grand-dogs Maggie & Ace, sister Janet (John), nieces, great nieces & nephew.

Mom lived her childhood in Schenectady, NY and raised her family in Johnstown, NY. Our home was always filled with homemade food – sauce, baked goods, homemade jams. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and visiting garage sales!

Mom was truly dedicated to her children, supporting them in every aspect of life. After her kids grew up, she went back to school and became a Certified Medical Assistant, of which she was so proud to follow her dream into the medical field. She worked for many years as a Medical Assistant and retired from MVP HealthCare.

Mom was even more proud of her two grandchildren making time to travel to Rochester to spend time with them. After retiring, she moved to Webster, NY to be closer to us.

A private funeral mass & internment is being planned. The family kindly asks that any donations be made in honor of Annette to St. Ann’s Foundation, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY.
