Bartholomew Anthony Mandarano
Bart spent his early years in Sayre, Pennsylvania, where he developed a love of baseball and music. A talented clarinetist, he had the honor of playing in the Pennsylvania State Band during high school.
After graduating from high school in 1958, Bart attended the University of Scranton, where he majored in accounting. He earned his BS degree in 1963 and began his career with the U.S. Department of Treasury – IRS Criminal Investigation in New York City, later transferring to Rochester, NY in 1966.
In 1962, Bart married Sandi Bond, and together they built a loving family, raising four children in Rochester, NY. Bart and Sandi shared 64 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, family, friends, laughter, and cherished memories.
After retiring from the Treasury Department in 1990, Bart pursued part-time work in real estate, enjoying the flexibility to explore new interests and spend time with his family. He and Sandi were blessed with opportunities to travel to several countries, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Bart was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Mandarano, and his in-laws, Lyal and Florence Bond. He is survived by his wife, Sandi; children, David (Karen), Chris (Kelly), Michelle (Randy), and Aaron (Wendy); and beloved grandchildren: Alex, Julie, Katie, Jenny, Austin, Jayden, Nicholas, and twins Makenzie and Maegan.
Bart’s life was a testament to hard work, family devotion, and the joy of shared experiences. He will be deeply missed by all.
Bart’s funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 28th at 11:00 AM at Ogden Presbyterian Church, 2400 South Union Street, Spencerport, 14559.
