Kevin W. Gerhard was a man you never forgot after meeting him. Kevin knew what he wanted out of life and was never afraid to let people know exactly how he felt. You may not have always agreed with him, but you always remembered him. He enjoyed a nice glass of Jim Beam and an unsupervised visit with his best friend Tom Burm Sr., which usually guaranteed stories, laughter and a little chaos. One of Kevin’s greatest prides in life was Maximilian’s Catering. He devoted countless years to the business and loved working side by side with his children. Cooking was something he took seriously and if you ever went out to eat with him, chances are you heard exactly how he would have cooked the meal better himself. Kevin was known for throwing unforgettable parties and bringing people together in a way only he could.

Beneath his stubborn personality was a man who loved his children very much. even if he did not always show it in perfect ways. His kids meant everything to him especially his youngest son Maverick, they were almost inseparable.
Kevin leaves behind memories that will never be forgotten, stories that will continue to be told for years to come and a personality far too big to ever quietly fade away.

Kevin is survived by his children Moriah, Maximilian and Maverick; his brother Norman M. Gerhard Jr. (Jackie); his nephew Derek (Betsy) Gerhard; His brother from another mother Jerry Biller (Jodee) along with many friends and countless people whose lives he impacted simply by being himself.

Kevin’s life story will be shared during visitation on Monday, June 1st from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, 14626.
