Margaret Ann (Dziekonski) Mussaw passed away peacefully on 9/10/26 at Highland Hospital with loved ones by her side. She was born and raised in Rochester NY but considered Shortsville NY her home after moving there with her family. She was a telephone operator with Rochester Telephone Company, became a stay-at-home Mom to care for her children, and later on became a personal housekeeper.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents Thaddeus and Elizabeth Dziekonski and brother Tom Dziekonski. She is survived by her two brothers, Ted and Don Dziekonski, sister-in-law Clarice Dziekonski, four children Micheal (Elizabeth) Mussaw, Dennis (Bridgett) Mussaw, Susan (Sal Merlo) Mussaw & Brian Mussaw, four grandchildren Bradleigh, Micheala, Krystal and Kyle Mussaw, four great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, many loved ones, two grand-dogs and her best friend Janey Burns.

Anyone who knew Margaret knows she was selfless, always putting others first, always there to help family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed reading, music, staying up to date on the news, but most of all trivia and gameshows, often answering questions on Jeopardy and solving puzzles on Wheel of Fortune before the contestants. She was passionate about products made in the U.S.A., healthy eating, and all of God’s creations. Margaret was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Dominics Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers please consider planting a tree in honor and memory of her.

A private gathering in honor of her life will be held on 9/27/26 at The Lodge at Twelve, 12 Canandaigua St. Shortsville, N.Y. 14548 from the hours of 11am to 3pm for immediate family and friends please.
