William S. Fuller
May 14, 1990 ~ September 15, 2026
Born in: Queens, NY
Resided in: East Rochester, NY
William Fuller was, above all else, unapologetically himself.
He was stoic, stubborn, fiercely opinionated, and, depending on who you asked, occasionally an asshole. But underneath that rough exterior was a man who could be loving, caring, and incredibly kind-especially when he wanted to be. William did not believe much in pretending. He didn’t care much for social norms or for saying what people expected him to say. With William, you always knew where you stood. If he liked you, you knew it. If he didn’t, you definitely knew that too.
William had a deep love for his cats, who were an important part of his world: Black Tie, Kitty Soft Paws, and Colonel Sanders.
William was a die-hard Yankees fan, a devoted Chiefs fan, and an overall sports fanatic. He loved watching UFC and could always find something worth watching when it came to sports.
Music was another huge part of William’s life, especially his favorite band, Staind. His love of music went far beyond simply listening to his favorite songs. He loved the experience of being there, hearing the music live, and making memories along the way. William and his family would travel across the United States to attend concerts, turning his love of music into adventures and stories that will be remembered for years to come. Those trips were about more than the concerts themselves-they were about the miles traveled, the time spent together, and the memories made along the way.
William was also famously particular about food. His comfort zone was simple and unwavering: chicken fingers, pizza, and burgers. Asking him to venture too far outside of those choices was likely to be met with the same skepticism he applied to many things in life.
Those who knew William will remember his dry nature, his stubbornness, his strong opinions, his love of sports and music, and the unmistakable way he carried himself through the world. He wasn’t always easy, and he certainly wasn’t for everyone-but he was real. He loved in his own way, cared more than he sometimes showed, and left an impression that people will not soon forget.
William is survived by his two brothers, Tim and Matt, and his sister, Caitlin, as well as his beloved cat, Kitty Soft Paws. His family will carry his memory with them-not only in the sadness of losing him, but in the countless stories, adventures, concerts, games, arguments, laughs, and ordinary moments that made William who he was.
He was one of a kind. And there will never be another William Fuller. We love you always. “Gimmick snaybits furnum burnum” Forever, Bill.
