Mary A. Camiolo (Andrews)
Passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the age of 73. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Joseph Camiolo, Sr., children Angela Stormo and Joseph (Sarah) Camiolo, Jr. and grandchildren Elizabeth Stormo, Flora Camiolo, George Stormo and Lincoln Camiolo as well as many family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents George and June Andrews, sister Robbyn Dundon, and brother John Andrews.
Mary was born during a hurricane in Norfolk, Virginia on September 27, 1953. The youngest child of a Naval family, she spent her early years moving around, with extended stays in Warwick, Rhode Island, Pensacola, Florida and finally settling in Rochester, New York. She is a 1972 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School where she met her husband, Joe.
Shortly after high school, Mary worked as an LPN helping others. She and Joe were happily married in May 1978 and settled down to start their family. Taking time off from nursing, Mary stayed at home with the kids while they were young, later returning to work at Wegmans and Chase Pitkin until her retirement. The family traveled a great deal, pulling off adventures like Walt Disney World for the kids’ birthdays in October and returning for the “turn of the century”, standing only yards away from her brother without knowing it! Mary and her husband loved cruising with Royal Caribbean and were able to take their last trip together in May 2023 to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary and spread her parents’ ashes at sea.
Mary was an active parishioner of St. Mark’s church, mastering the coleslaw station at the weekly Lenten fish fry and a member of the North Greece Fire Department Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish, to kindly consider donating in Mary’s memory to the North Greece Fire Department Auxiliary, 1766 Latta Rd. 14612, Auxiliary – North Greece Fire Department, or Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., 14450, Lollypop Farm as she has always been a huge lover of animals including her dogs Buckley, Silky, CoCo, Honey and Lady.
Family and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane from 4:00-7:00pm on Monday, October 26th. A celebration of her life and Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 27th at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Road. Interment will immediately follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
