Guy was born on August 11, 1935 in Washington, DC. He grew up in Maryland and Rochester. As a child, he loved playing practical jokes. He practiced Judo and loved comic books, fencing, knives, chivalry, knights, honor, and started a gun collection when he was very young. He was artistic, whittled wood, and threw knives very accurately. After graduating high school, he became a medic in the Army.
While serving in the Army in S Korea, a medical tent with many people inside caught on fire. Guy was able to get every one of them out. He was in a "mash" unit and flew in helicopters as a medical. He later worked at Xerox as a mechanic and maintenance worker. He was also an excellent machinist working on lathes, drill presses, and mills.
Guy was an active gun club member and enjoyed target shooting. He also liked classical movies, fencing, and working for the gun shop.
Family and friends would best describe Guy as someone who was stubborn but loyal, caring, and loving. He was always very respectful and displayed honor. He will be greatly missed.
