Dr. Sam started Sansone Dental Practice, LLP in 1957. Over his long career he built a successful practice which grew to include thousands of loyal patients. Before retiring in 2003, Dr. Sam was active in many dental organizations. He was one of the founding dentists of the Apollonian Dental Study Club and was elected to the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists.
Aside from Sam's passion for dentistry, his first and greatest love was his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and planning trips all over the world with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He found pure pleasure in the outdoors; always mowing his lawn, taking care of his pond, and maintaining the fig trees in his green house. One of his favorite family vacations was the annual snowmobile trip to Old Forge every February. He was the leader of the pack on his Artic Cat Z1000 up until he was 89 years old. Sam was a "Jack of All Trades" and "Master of All". He never went anywhere without his tools and always kept busy working on projects. He was a mentor to many, had a strong work ethic, and was generous beyond measure. He had a great appreciation for music, played alto sax in numerous bands, and loved to throw a great party.
