He is survived by his wife, Panagiota "Betty" Vamvakitis; sons, Dimitrios (Kristin) Vamvakitis, Georgios Vamvakitis; grandchildren, Bethany Panagiota, Amalia Marie and Sophia Leonida; sisters brother, Evagelia (Konstantinos)Kolovos, Kleomenis (Vasiliki) Vamvakitis, Maria (Petros) Stakos; sisters-in-law, Ekaterina Vamvakitis, Kalliopi Vamvakitis; many nieces nephews.

Services
BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Leonidas' Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Trisagion Service will be held at 7 PM by Fr. Jerry Tasikas. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 11AM at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation (962 East Ave.) Interment in White Haven Memorial Park.
Additional Information
Leonidas immigrated from Greece to Montreal, Canada at the age of 14. He held many positions in the restaurant business gaining knowledge and the dream of owning his own business. His work ethic and determination for the American Dream brought him to the US where he became a projectionist at the Starlite Drive-in and then his move into the restaurant business. Leonidas was a Restaurant entrepreneur for 35 years, beginning with Bill's Diner on Lyell Avenue and then building his and his wife's dream of a larger family establishment the Country Village Family Restaurant in Greece and recently adding Betty's Mt. Read Diner.
