Greece: Nick passed away at the age of 18 on Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Debbie Arieno; siblings, Nathan and Natalie; grandmothers, Patricia Arieno and Annemarie Dianic; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and pre-deceased by grandfathers, Joseph T. Arieno and Frank Dianic.
Nick was a recent graduate from Greece Athena High School class of 2013 and was attending SUNY Buffalo pursuing a degree in Business. He had many passions in his life and a wonderful way of connecting to others, developing deep lasting friendships and touching the lives of so many in a positive way. Nick and his business partner participated in the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) with their longboard/skateboard business Fleet Board Sports with the Greece Chamber of Commerce and were 2013 finalists. Nick went from Tiger Cub to Eagle Scout earning the rank in 2010 with BSA Troop 5 chartered by the Kiwanis Club of Greece.
Nick loved art and music and gave back to others through volunteerism and as a Camp Counselor to children with diabetes and children with other special needs at the Rotary Sunshine Camp in Rush and at Wellness G.I.F.T.S. at Hickory Hill Campgrounds. Nick will be missed but remembered forever in the hearts of all those who knew him.
Visiting hours will be Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Nick's funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday10 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
