Fairport: February 24, 2015. Predeceased by husband, William Ingraham; siblings, Seth Martin Betty McCloskey. Survived by her children, Billie (Paul) Bosdyk, Martin Ingraham, Seth "Zack" Ingraham (Debbie Osifat); grandchildren, Kimberly (Shawn) McInerney, Amy (Ken) Bianchi, Jessica Ingraham, Jason Ingraham, Addison Ingraham, Hailey Ingraham; great-grandchildren, Rylan McInerney, Maia McInerney, Jazz Bianchi, Sierra Bianchi; several nieces nephews. Special thanks to Aaron Manor for their love and care. All services private. Memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, 333 Westmoreland Dr, Rochester, NY 14620 in Mary's memory. Born on September 18, 1921, Mary grew up in Avis, PA. She attended Lock Haven University and after graduation, taught kindergarten for the Pennsbury School District. She also co-founded and taught in the nursery school at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church. Through his sister, Eva, she met her husband William. Together they raised 3 wonderful children, Zack, Martin Billie. Some of Mary's special vacations included a six-month cross country RV trip and the 2 times she house sat for a friend for a month in St. Croix. She was very active in her church including being a part of the Ruth Circle Group. Mary also enjoyed gardening and traveling to national parks out west. Family and friends would describe Mary as someone who was grounded and caring. She loved birds, nature, flowers, and children! She appreciated the beauty of the world and taught everyone to look at every flower, shell and leaf to see the beauty. She also taught people to recognize the beauty within every child. Mary will be dearly missed.
