Rex, Samuel P. Fairport: February 6, 2016, at the age of 47. Sam was predeceased by his grandfather, Samuel Rampello son, Victor Rex. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Dambra; daughter, Brieanne Dambra; mother Marie (Lynn Quinn) Rampello; father, Jeffrey Rex; brothers, Jeffrey Rex Jacob Quinn; sister, Christina Rampello; grandparents, Viola Penman Audrey Rampello; in-laws, Tony Mary Ann Dambra; brother-in-law, Anthony Dambra; best friend, Rich Polcyn; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins friends. Sam was a Gulf War veteran and was the current Post Commander of VFW 8495 in Fairport. He was awarded the Purple Heart Bronze Star with Valor. Samuel's visitation will be held 4-9PM on Wednesday, a tribute for Sam will be presented at 8 pm by the Honor Guard from the VFW 8495 in Fairport - both at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10AM on Thursday at St. John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way.
