Rochester: July 7, 2015. Joanne is predeceased by her father, John C. Mancuso. She is survived by her son, Gerry Weaver; mother, Sylvia Mancuso; brother, Vincent (Nancy) Mancuso; sister, Gina (John) Schultz, brother, John (Laurie) Mancuso; sister, Sylvia (Jim) Gordon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Joanne's visitation will be Friday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Her funeral service will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ABVI, 422 S. Clinton Ave. Rochester, NY 14620 in Joanne's memory. Joanne was born on January 7, 1964. During her childhood she enjoyed listening to music, talking with friends and family, swimming and going for walks. During her teen years, she graduated from Gates-Chili High School in Rochester, NY and took interest in art class, home economics, business courses and sang in the high school choir. Some of Joanne's favorite life events were the holidays as she loved to decorate for all of the annual holidays. Joanne loved animals and collected angel statues. She also liked to crochet, bake cookies and volunteered at Holy Apostles Church. Joanne enjoyed listening to rock and roll music and watched Big Brother T.V. show. She was known to be kind, generous and have a bubbly personality. Joanne was also a thoughtful, loving and comforting person. She had a positive outlook on life and she always put others first as she was known to give counselor to her loved ones. Joanne will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many family and friends.
