GREECE - Nancy K. Snedden peacefully on July 19, 2019 at age 81. Predeceased by her husband John, brother Donald Kelley. Nancy is survived by her children, Karen (Dave) Leaderer, Thomas Snedden Robert (Lisa) Snedden; grandchildren, Amanda (Trent) Shepherd, David (Jill) Leaderer II, Nikki (John) Dalberth, Morgan Snedden Tyler Snedden; 4 great grandchildren; special niece Christine Vella; several other cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends, both old and new. Nancy's family wishes to extend their gratitude to Pat's Helpers at Fleming Point. Nancy's Life Story will be shared during visitation 4-7 PM MONDAY July 29, 2019 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane Rochester, NY 14626 (between Rt. 390 and Long Pond Rd.) Her Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY 9:30 AM at Our Mother Of Sorrows Church; 5000 Mt Read Blvd.; Rochester, New York 14612. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. NANCY KELLEY ANN SNEDDEN Nancy grew up in Braddocks Heights attending Mother of Sorrows grammar school. She then went to Nazareth Academy and eventually graduating from St. Joseph's Business School. While growing up her childhood and life- long friends were Joanie Weins Keyes, Verna Pschierer, Bill Wood, Nancy Barb Paige, her cousins-Harold, Earl, carol and Kathy Schlffhauer and her best friend, her brother, Don. She was a majorette in the Summerville Marching Band performing in many parades throughout the area. She also enjoyed hanging out at Ames bowling Alley which her father helped build. After High School Nancy starting working for the State of New York. She was a Court Clerk at the Hall of Justice-- Supreme Court. Retiring after many years of service. After retiring Nancy enjoyed working at the Shops on West Ridge as a crafter/vendor. Nancy is survived by her three children -Karen (Dave) Leaderer, Thomas Snedden, and Rob (Lisa) Snedden. She also had 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Amanda (Leaderer) Trent Shepherd with Hayes Kennedy. Nikki (Snedden) John Dalberth with Lilyanna and Henry. And Morgan and Tyler Snedden. She also loved animals. To name a few of them-Bronco, Jasper, Coco, Val and her cat Spunky. Nancy and her husband John loved going to Las Vegas with friends, Roxanne Dick Walbroel, Bob Ruth Peckham. Nancy enjoyed doing many things such as bowling with her friend Carolyn Trendel. She loved reading books late into the night, doing her crafts, crocheting and knitting many, many, items for people, playing games at Fleming Point -Pokeno, LCR, Bingo, going to the Casino with Maribeth, Ann and Ghisel. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchild participate in sports. She loved traveling to Texas as well as Chicago to see her family and friends. While in Texas she loved shopping and of course going to the casino! If there was a deal out there Nancy found it. She loved having cookouts with her family and her biggest event that she loved was spending Christmas Eve with her family. She would give everyone surprise bags filled with some crazy goodies. All the men in the family must have a lifetime supply of "goldbond". Everyone had fun trading for the coolest and craziest item. Then Dad and Mom would hand out Lottery tickets to see who was the big winner. She loved cheering on the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. Any team but the Red Sox or the Patriots. Last year at Fleming Point she even rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs!! When we had to move Mom to Fleming Point she was not a happy camper but we knew it was the perfect place for her and within 30 days she was the life of the party there. She knew just about every resident in her short time there. She loved going to all the activities that they offered, playing games, attending the entertainment that came and even learning how to play Bocce Ball. If you went to visit her she would inform you that she always had to leave to go to lunch or dinner by quarter after the hour. If she had an activity to go to she was sure to be there again 10-15 minutes before the event. Now for those of you that knew her she was ALWAYS late for things to the point where we would give her a fake time just so she would be on time. This goes to show you how much she loved living there. Nancy was a very giving, personable, and fun lady. She loved having a laugh with all. We will all miss her !!
