Susan M. (Sadwick) Prevost SPENCERPORT - March 4, 2020. Susan is predeceased by her father, Leonard Sadwick, brother, David Sadwick sister, Donna Raeman. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Prevost; children, Dennis (Kristin) Prevost, Jr., Amanda (Kevin) Casper Nicole (Jeff) Briggs; grandchildren, Alexis, Alice, Noah, Bella, Ava, Dennis III, Isla Kinsley; mother, Jeannette Sadwick; brothers, Robert (Carol) Sadwick, Leonard "Mike" Sadwick, James (Lugene) Sadwick; several nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Susan's life story will be shared during her visitation, Sunday, March 8th, 1-5 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). Her funeral mass will be celebrated, Monday, March 9th, 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd., followed by her entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Ronald McDonald House, 333 West Moreland Dr., Rochester, NY 14620 in Susan's memory. Susan was born on September 7, 1951 to Leonard Jeannette (Shaw) Sadwick. Growing up in the town of Gates with her siblings, David, Donna, Robert, Leonard "Mike" James, she attended St. Theodores Gates Chili HS. Through her childhood she enjoyed ice skating and dancing. When Susan met Dennis in 1973 they started dating immediately. They went on to get married and have three children of their own, Dennis Jr, Amanda Nicole. Susan fiercely loved her children and her husband, always putting them first. Family events, trips and gatherings were always a favorite for her, especially during the holidays! While raising her kids she was involved in Lloyds Christmas Around the World and even won a sales award a trip to Hawaii. She enjoyed taking care of their children while they were young but decided to go back to college once they were in school. Sue attended Nazareth where she received a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. She worked for 10 years with the Rochester City School District as a substitute teacher and then with Pre-School aged children with speech challenges in the mid 90's. She enjoyed walking on beaches collecting sea glass seashells, listening to books on tape, reading James Patterson novels, camping, bird watching and anything outdoors. She has traveled all over the U.S. and has even traveled to Europe. Susan was a big sports fan NY Yankees Notre Dame were some of her favorites! Music was another love of Susan's, whether it be country music in general or more specific artists such as Bread, Jim Croce, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Winwood, Al Green or Elvis. As her children grew older and started families of their own, Susan and Dennis welcomed their grandchildren; Alexis, Alice, Noah, Bella, Ava, Dennis III, Isla Kinsley. Susan was affectionately called "Gega" by her grandchildren. Susan was a member of "Linen Ladies" and also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House. Her sweet, reliable, loving personality will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
