After graduating from high school he went on to take courses at RIT and University of Rochester. He later took over the company his father founded, Glide Overhead Door in 1951, eventually retiring in September of 2012.
Vince was a collector of model trains and loved collecting and restoring antique cars. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cottage in Fairhaven. Vince was a cook who made delicious sauce and excellent brachiole. The TV show 2 ½ Men was one of his favorites.
He was a proud father and grandfather, and a great storyteller. He was a social guy who some describe as strong-willed, but always honest, reliable and hardworking. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
