Greece: February 24, 2016. Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna (Andrews) Drake; children Bill (Elise Matzky) Drake, Joanna (Nathan) McGlothlin; grandchildren Aiden Mason Drake. He founded and owned Drake Engines, a well known engine machine shop here in Rochester. Bill enjoyed racing. His favorite race car was a 1948 Austin he called Ol Rumble Guts, in which he set many national Speed E.T.records. Bill's passion was restoring classic cars. He spent countless hours working on vintage cars. His favorite cars to own include Hemi Cuda Challengers. Bill proudly won numerous awards for his work. Many of his cars were proudly displayed in publications across the country. Special thanks to Dr's Russell Maggio Karan Singh Alag the many nurses caregivers at Rochester General Hospital Lifetime Care. Bill's visitation will be Saturday 11AM-3PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His service burial are Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Racers for Christ, 1250 E.
