Donations for an Educational Fund can be made out to Charles Enzo Gravelle, mailed to 144 Guinevere Drive, Rochester, NY 14626. Lian was born in Cleveland, Ohio in February of 1980. She and her brother, Don, were very close in age, only 14 months apart. Growing up they shared many friends and even antics. Lian loved to compete especially in one of her many sports, such as softball, volleyball and even synchronized swimming. Her favorite shows as a child were the Christmas shows, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty, and of course Charlie Brown's Christmas special. She even loved some old movies like Gone with the Wind and White Christmas. Lian's worldview came from a long education with trips to study abroad in England, an infamous European budget holiday with her friends and numerous trips across the U.S. Lian attended undergraduate school at Syracuse University, where she was destined to meet the love of her life, Brian. She was an avid Syracuse sports fan, but thanks to Brian, she even enjoyed Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey too. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in both English and Journalism she went on to Valparaiso University Law School where she earned her J.D. degree. Lian's crowning achievement was becoming a partner at the ESOP Plus Law firm. After years of being reluctant of the "law firm life" she found herself looking for a common home with Brian and ended up in Rochester, NY. She was wildly successful in her time with the firm and just a few short weeks ago, she accepted the position of a lifetime at Kreig DeVault. Lian's involvement in her professional community was extensive. She was co-chair of Monroe County Bar Association Tax Section, Vice President of New York/New Jersey chapter of ESOP association and a member of the greater Rochester association for women attorneys. She had many friends and developed great relationships with everyone she met. She was an intelligent, loyal woman of integrity, always willing to help others. Her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed the Sunday spaghetti dinners at her grandma's house with extended family and all the family vacations with her cousins, aunts and uncles. Lian was a loving new mom to 6 month old twin boys, Enzo and Charles. She worked very hard and sacrificed so much to have her beautiful boys. Enzo has her eyes, but Charles is her mini me. She adored her boys and they adored her. She was happy and feeling blessed with her life, often saying " I have the life and family I've always dreamed of having." She lived at home with her loving husband, her two boys, her favorite puppy, Galavant and her long time feline companion, Hunter. Her life was short but for that short time she was blessed beyond measure and loved greatly by family and friends. She will be missed here but heaven has another angel.
