On August 11, 2013, Rose passed peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by her husband, two children and their spouses, and three grandchildren who she called her Guardian Angels. Rose was predeceased by her son, Robert Flanagan; nephew, Jon Pryce; brother, Francis Carden. Survived by husband, Joseph Flanagan; children, Michael (Becki) Flanagan Deborah (Eric) Reinhardt; grandchildren, Erica Rose, Amanda Clare, Ellie Rose; siblings, Betty Noelte, Pat Skip Carr, Elsabet Bernie Lane, James Carden, Frankee Perry. Rose's visitation will be 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Her funeral mass will be 9 AM Thursday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Pk, Rochester.
