George was born on April 12, 1935 in Rochester, NY. He graduated from Aquinas Institute in 1952 and worked for Eastman Kodak for over 35 years.
George met his wife, Jeanne, while she was working at ESL bank. They were married for 49 years and raised two wonderful sons. George was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family and was most happy any time that family was together.
In his spare time, George loved traveling. He enjoyed visiting any destination he could drive to and had visited places like Disney World, Aruba, and went to the Adirondacks every summer. George collected antique cars, including a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. George was an avid musician and an accomplished accordion player who played for many local events, including weddings, nursing homes, etc. He also taught music lessons at Levis Music Store. He was a National Accordion recording artist and was even invited to play the accordion on the Ed Sullivan Show!
George was active in community affairs and volunteered his services to the Greece community, appreciated Amish-prepared food, enjoyed eating out often at local restaurants, and maintained a large circle of friends.
Family and friends would best describe George as someone who was very social, enjoyed good conversation, was intelligent, up on current events, a great conversationalist, and was very proud and committed to his family. He will be greatly missed by the many friends and family members whose lives he touched.
