Joe was born on September 24, 1942. He grew up in Rochester in the neighborhood surrounding Jefferson High School. As an adult he worked in heating and cooling for the Local 46.
As an avid fisherman, he looked forward to April trout season and was the winner of the 1992 Eslo King Salmon Derby and placed in several other derbies. Joe also enjoyed hunting, dancing and was a great cook. His favorite music included Frank Sinatra and Diana Krull. He liked to watch Criminal Minds, NCIS, news and the Cooking Channel. Though he was sometimes described as impatient, he was a social guy who had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. Joe will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
