Juana Machuca, age 70, of Rochester, New York passed away on Sunday May 3rd, 2015 at home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Juana was born in Valdivia-Isla Del Rey, a beautiful island in Chile on June 24, 1944. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband Ivan Machuca, her beloved children Paola Machuca (Sandy Cicherillo), Nina Machuca (Marc Dall), and Arturo Machuca (Amy Machuca), and her cherished grandchildren, Jisela and Keira Dall, Emileo and Mateo Machuca as well as her cherished siblings in Chile; Victoria, Inez, Clemente, and Miguel. Juana was an incredibly caring and giving person who enjoyed cooking, flowers, and nature, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
