Brooklyn, NY: Died April 7, 2020. Abeth is predeceased by his father, Andre Alexandre. He is survived by his mother, Marie Heureuse; siblings, Kettlie Bien-Aime, Kens (Eileen) Alexandre, Fombrun Alexandre, Renald Alexandre Sherbyne Alexandre; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. Abeth was laid to rest in White Haven Memorial Park privately with his family in attendance. Written by Kens: Abeth entered the US at the age of 15 from Haiti. He'd attended Boys and Girls HS in Brooklyn, NY. After High School, Abeth had wanted to leave the city to go to a different state to complete his higher education, to his disappointment, that didn't happen. He, ultimately, went on to obtain a bachelor of art degree at Hunter College in NY City. After finishing college, Abeth traveled Europe for a brief period. He, then, settled and worked for the NY City Board of Education as a teacher for a number of years. Abeth spent his last years spending a lot of time working and taxiing people across the city. Abeth loved family and was so kind to everyone. He enjoyed seeing people happy. He did everything for family and friends and expected nothing in return. Abeth loved life. He enjoyed the yearly trips to the Caribbean. He wanted to start spending less time working and more time enjoying life. He had plans to start spending more time with family members he didn't see often. It was very difficult to not like Abeth when you met him. He had an incredible smile and spoke with a soft voice. He had an easy way about him that made people wanting to be around him. He didn't fret the little things. He was extremely grateful. People genuinely loved him. Abeth's leaving this Earth has left the people, who knew him and loved him, in a shock and pain that will last a while. To say he will be missed, that's understating it. However, the memories of Abeth will live on. In one shape or form, he will continue to be with us, mortals!
