ROCHESTER - Passed away on February 2, 2021. Frank has long been a pillar of the Rochester community. He is widely known and recognized for his 30 years of service as a firefighter, his prominence as a successful businessman, and decades of commitment to Rochester's youth athletic programs. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Duvilio & Pasqualina Lobene, son-in-law, Joseph Rizzo; also several loving cousins, aunts & uncles. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet (Violante) Lobene; children, Janaraha Rizzo, Frankie Lobene, Matthew (Stephanie Bean) Lobene, Adam (Eleni) Lobene, Daniel (Angela) Lobene & John (Christine) Lobene; beloved grandchildren, Noah, Lucas, Marie, Eviana, Gabriella, Joey, Matteo, Audrielle, Marco, Ryan & Luca; brothers & sisters, Susan(Joe) Montesano, Antonio Lobene, Virginia Lobene & Thomas Lobene; loving nieces, nephews & cousins. Frank's life story will be shared during visitation Friday, February 12th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. His funeral service will be celebrated Saturday 10:00am at St. Pius The Tenth Church. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
