A heartfelt Facebook post from Judge Christopher Robert:
Monroe County lost a long time friend to emergency services today... and, so did I
Lieutenant with Gates-Chili Fire District, Police Dispatcher/Dispatcher II at ECD, Fire Dispatcher at Brockport FD, Court Security at Brockport Village Court, Firefighter with Chili Fire Department, son to Patty, husband to Damaris Dentino, brother to his amazing siblings and his favorite role of them all, Uncle Paulie to his wonderful niece...
What can I say about this man I met on my first day at 911 some 25 years ago... It was his first day too... He told me "stick with me" we'll get through this! And we did!
We had a lot in common, both in the fire service, both had special bonds with our Moms, and both started our new career together...
Heaven has a new Angel, and I am sure he has gotten a few chuckles out of those he has encountered already...
Always a smile and a big hello... "Ow you doin, Martin, he'd say... until we got to Court... then it became "Hello Judge!"
Paulie, you made an impression on everyone you met, and you've left a lasting memory on those you called friend... there are many, many of them... We will all shed a tear, and a story as we remember you, old friend...
May you Rest In Eternal Peace and fly high with the Angels... Until, we meet again...
