Kenneth E Bigelow, born in Watertown NY on June 26, 1944, passed away on May 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Fondly called “Poopa” by his granddaughters, Ken was a kind and humble man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies were wood carving, playing cards and his daily walks.

Ken was a veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his country in Vietnam. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. for over 28 years.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen; his children Kathleen Bigelow, Kelly Zimmer (Brett), and Keith Bigelow; his granddaughters Allison Whelihan (James), Sara Syvoraphane (Thai), and Alexis Brabham (Colen); his soon-to-be born great-granddaughter, Lucy Mae; and his cat Niko, who was always on his lap. We will miss his wonderful sense of humor and his gift of storytelling.

Ken will also be missed by his sisters-in-law, Mary K Dawson and Lori Purnell, his brother-in-law, Sid Purnell, his niece, Alexandra Dawson, and many friends, especially his dear friends Tom and Laurie Pelletier.
