Alan Charles Padlo

Greece: Our beloved son Alan (Al) left us suddenly on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 43 years old. He recently lost his aunt Nancy Beedon of Henrietta, NY on November 21, 2024. He lost his beloved terrier, Rocky, on October 19, 2020.

Alan is survived by his parents Leon and Kathryn (Sherwood); brothers Philip of Rochester and Gregory (Ivonne) of Lavon, TX; beloved nephew Henry and Baby Padlo due July 2025; special cousin Kelly Beedon of Henrietta, NY; aunt and godmother Margaret (William) Hughes of Fairport, NY; uncles Robert Beedon of Henrietta, NY, David Padlo and Paul (Patricia Putzke) Padlo of Olean, NY who affectionately nicknamed him “Big Al” when he was a toddler, and Robert (Ping) Sherwood of Rochester, NY; many cousins and friends.

Alan loved all things sports, any sport. He loved playing baseball and enjoyed snowmobiling with his dad and brother and his friends when he was young.
Alan was his mom’s caregiver “partner” for his dad who became partially paralyzed from a surgical spinal cord injury 18 months ago.

Alan’s life story will be shared during visitation on Sunday, December 22, from 1-4 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, at 11 am at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Rd., 14612. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alan’s name to an Animal Rescue organization of your choice.
