He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, bowling, fishing, hunting and golf. His true passions were always found in his love for the outdoors. He loved anything to do with gardening. He always kept meticulous records on everything from the types of seeds planted to weather conditions and the yield he received from his efforts.
