Survived by his wife of 61 years, Fayette; Loving father of Carol (Bob) Wells, Marge, Cathie (Thomas) Smith, Chuck (Celeste), Nancy (Doug) VanGraafeiland, Ed (Mary), Clark (Janet); dearest grandfather of 9 grandchildren, Emily, Joshua, Lindsay, Peter, Chris, Andy, Lainey, Kelsey, Summer and 3 great grandchildren, Gracie, Micah and Jeremiah; several nephews and cousins.

Services
BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd) where friends may call on Monday from 2-4 7-9. Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Additional Information
Al served his country in both World War II and the Korean War. He landed on the beaches of Normandy, France with the Allied Forces.
Al retired from Eastman Kodak Company in 1986 after 25 years of employment. In his retirement years, he was a substitute teacher at Edison Tech, a consultant and enjoyed his family. Al's hobbies included playing cards, reading, bowling and fishing.
Al also served the Rochester City School District for over 15 years. He taught welding technology evening classes for the Adult Continuing Education Program. He was the recipient of the Adult Education Teacher of the Year Award for 1986-87 and served on the District's Occupational Education Advisory Council.
