Feder, Alma J. (Jabaut) Henrietta: April 3, 2017 at the age of 97. Alma is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence & Loretta Jabaut; husband Nicholas; children James, Barbara (McGee) Foley, Michael & Marie Elaine; grandson Nicholas; sister Elaine Klauss. She is survived by her children, David (Ellen Warner), Edward (Sharon), Robert, Lynnette Downs, Eileen (Donald) Downs, Arline (Steve) Baker, Carol (Dale) Hill; daughter-in-law Joanne; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Jacqueline (Bill) Arnold; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. Special thanks to the caregivers at both Cottage Grove Memory Care and Brentland Woods Assisted Living. Alma's visitation will be Sunday 1-4 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at Guardian Angels Church, 2061 E. Henrietta Rd., immediately followed by her internment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Cottage Grove Memory Care, 48 Cottage Grove Circle, North Chili 14514 or Brentland Woods Assisted Living, 3831 E. Henrietta Rd., Henrietta, NY 14467 in Alma's memory. Alma graduated from Nazareth High School, and just enjoyed her 75th reunion! She met her husband at a dance hall and they were later married at the Immaculate Conception Church. Feeding family & friends were very important to her and Alma loved babies, any baby was special to her. Her love of knitting and crocheting were helpful here. Alma enjoyed classical piano and 40's dance music, Fiddler on the Roof and Gone With the Wind. Her favorite things to watch on TV the were Westminster Dog Show & Figure Skating. Alma never looked her age, she was also very young at heart. She was independent and embraced change, remaining resilient even after her husband Nicholas died. Alma was a loving, compassionate, friendly and a generous person. She was loved and will be missed.
