Anna Maria Catalani June 19, 2023. Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Marcello; sister and brother-in-law, Lucia and Carmine Russo. She is survived by daughters, Enrica (Tom) Fleming, Anna Julia (Karl Salzer) Catalani; grandchildren, Marc (Lisa), Gabriel (Kate), Stefan (Sarah) Fleming; Maria (Jason) La Shomb; six great-grandchildren, Josephine, Julia, Anthony, Betsy, Annamaria and Natalie; nieces and nephews. Anna immigrated to Rochester in 1955 from her native Celano, Italy. She was a former teacher and worked at Highland Hospital Medical Records for over 20 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana who delighted in cooking delicious meals for her family. The family expresses gratitude to Edna Tina Wilson staff for their compassionate care of our mother these past six years. Anna's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 29, 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nazareth Elementary School, 311 Flower City Park, Rochester, NY 14615, or Masses may be offered in Anna's memory.
