May 24, 2015. Antonette is predeceased by her husband Leon; brothers, Lawrence and Angelo Vaccarelli, brother and sister in-law, Patrick and Millie; sisters in-law, Chloe and Doris. She is survived by her sons and daughters in-law, Ken and Victoria Yare, Robert and Judy Yare; daughter and son in-law, Nancy and Daniel Lemcke; grandchildren, Kendra (Brian) O'Keefe, David (Nicole) Yare, Daniel Lemcke II, Mary Yare and Jacob Yare; great-grandchildren Cian O'Keefe, Cade O'Keefe, Tessa Rose Yare; brother, Anthony Vaccarelli; brother and sister in-law, Thomas and Ree Vaccarelli; sister in-law, Marlene Vaccarelli; cherished nieces, nephews, many dear friends and "her" dog Hayate. For more information about Antonette visit aliferemembered.com. Antonette's visitation will be Thursday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Her funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 am at Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Avenue. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin Street, Rochester, NY 14606. Antonette was born on April 2, 1924. She grew up in in Rochester, NY in Dutchtown neighborhood area and then moved to Avery Street. She was the oldest of six children and the only girl. During her youth, she loved to roller skate and go to the movies. When Antonette became an adult, she worked at Eastman Kodak as a Lens Inspector. She enjoyed many activities throughout her life, such as, dancing, singing karaoke, bowling, crocheting and cooking Italian food. Antonette also liked to share recipes and go out for a late night snack. She liked to eat out at Nick Tahous, Shalers and Bill Grays. Antonette liked to communicate and play games on the internet. She loved to read romance novels and idolized actress, Shirley Temple. Antonette listened to Big Band music as well as a variety of other kinds of music. She also enjoyed gardening, especially growing her roses and traveling to Europe and across the U.S. Some of Antonette's most favorite life events were going to family picnics and attending annual family Christmas parties. She was known to love her family dearly and loved being a grandmother. Antonette was known to be social, fun loving, traditional and loved children. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
