Arturo Morales Gonzales

Rochester, Passed away on October 6, 2024, at age 86. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Emilia Morales; parents, Enrique Morales & Felicita Gonzales; siblings, German Morales, Santana Morales, Miguel Morales, Asuncion Morales, Alegandrina Morales, Ramona Morales, Victor Morales, Demetrio Morales, Mercedes Morales, & Rufino Morales. He is survived by his children, Aida Morales, Roberto Morales, Julio Morales, Evelyn Morales, and Jose Luis Morales; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his cherished dog, Sulie.

Arturo was born June 30, 1938 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. He was raised on the family farm, where they grew coffee, plantains and different types of fruits. He met Emilia when they were 15 & 16 years old and were married shortly after. He was a hardworking family man, always making sure that his family had everything they needed. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.

A Carpenter by trade, Arturo was skilled in all types of construction equipment and vehicles.

Sunday’s were special for the entire family. Arturo made sure to always take off from work so they could enjoy family dinners together.

Arturo’s calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 10 from 3-6 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, 14626, followed by a service at 6 pm. Arturo will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
