History She is survived by her children, Carl (Donna), Karen Cottorone-Young, Steve (Cathy), Ronnie, Barbara Ann (Karl) Fellows and Cristyn (Tod) Simone; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Bratek, Dolores Bochenek, Marie (Walt) Wilby; brother, Frederick Gene (Lorraine) Tarala; sisters-in-law, Mary Eichas and Ann (David) Hawelka. All are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church (2400 Ridge Rd. W.) Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Additional Information Barbara graduated from Auburn East High School in 1945. She was the Salutitarian of her class. She graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing in 1948. She was employed as a R.N. at St. Mary's Hospital for several years before doing private duty nursing. She met her husband Carl at St. Mary's Hospital and they were married for 52 years. Barbara was an avid bowler golfer. She belonged to bowling and golf leagues at Ridgemont Country Club. In 1998, she had a hole in one while golfing in Florida. She enjoyed cooking, working crossword puzzles, card playing with family and friends, casino visits especially spending time with her grandchildren.
