Rochester: Loretta died peacefully at the age of 55 on Monday, July 22, 2013. She is predeceased by her sons, Goldde Cornell Douglas. Loretta leaves cherished memories to her husband, Ernest Sr; oldest son, Ernest; daughter, Tynisa (Marlon Sr.); grandchildren, Ernest Jr (E.J.), E-Lexus, Marlon Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. A gathering of remembrance for Loretta will be 11 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Loretta Bethly Crumity Douglas was born May 7, 1958 in Manhattan, NY to Walter Crumity Sr and Inez Crumity. Loretta was the "baby" of the family having two sisters and four brothers. Loretta relocated to Rochester, NY where she pursued her Bachelors of Social Work from Empire State College. Always caring for others, Loretta was a Foster Parent in the Bronx, as well as in Rochester, NY. Loretta also provided day care for family and friends for many years. Loretta was a woman whose love overflowed. She always opene3d her home to anyone who needed it; becoming a second mother to many of her nieces and nephews, and many young adults who were friends of the family. Along with her overflowing love, Loretta was a fun person to be around. She was full of energy, loved to dance and play games. Her smile and presence would always brighten up the whole room filling those who surrounded her with happiness.
