Betsy was born on October 25, 1934. She grew up near the downtown Public Market area in Rochester, NY. During her youth, Betsy liked spending time at Eddie's Corner and she graduated from Franklin High School in 1952. She worked at Delco Products for over 30 years where she retired. Betsy also met her husband James at Delco and they went on to have 3 children. Her favorite times of year were the holidays and she also liked the changing of the seasons, especially autumn. Betsy had a large angel collection, she loved to sing and was known to be patriotic. Some of her favorite T.V. shows were Lawrence Welk, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and the Hallmark Channel.
Betsy has been described as bubbly and was full of life. She had a spit-fire personality and held a very strong faith. Appearances were very important to Betsy as she loved to color coordinate and her favorite color was purple. She would say "everything matches from the inside out." Betsy was a very active parishioner of St. Theodore's church. Through the years she served on the Parish Council, the Finance Committee, volunteered as a Receptionist, Religious Education Teacher and a member of the Bell Choir. Betsy also volunteered at St. John's Church of Spencerport as a Receptionist. Betsy was loved by many family and friends, she will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
