Beverly died suddenly, December 26, 2018, at the age of 69. She is predeceased by her husband James J. Bell, Sr.; parents Seamus Betty McDonald; brother-in-law Mark Vahue. Beverly is survived by her children, Christine (Mike) Gurski, James "Jim" (Karen) Bell, Jr., Erin (Patrick) Palmer Shannon Bell; grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah, Noah Emma Janas, Jimmy III, Kylie, Justin, Kaitlyn Jack Bell, Maura, Conor, Bridget Liam Palmer, Aidan James Bell, Cory Ryan Gurski; sister Maureen Vahue; step-mother Shirley Bates McDonald; several nieces, nephews, cousins dear friends. For more infromation about Beverly please visit www.bartolomeo.com Beverly's life story will be shared during her visitation, Sunday, December 30th, 1-5 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, December 31st, 11AM at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Rd., followed by her entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Roch., NY 14620. Beverly was born on December 28, 1948 to Seamus Elizabeth McDonald. She grew up in Rochester, NY in the 10th ward neighborhood on Ramona Street. During her childhood, Beverly met special friends that she continued to maintain throughout her life. She attended St. Joseph's Business School but took pride and joy in raising her children and caring for her family. Beverly married her husband James on January 18, 1969 at Most Precious Blood Church. They went on to have 4 children, Christine, James, Erin and Shannon. Beverly and James were married for 41 years. Beverly enjoyed many hobbies and had an active social life. She liked to travel, attend conventions and take trips with her girlfriends. She was a very talented artist, as she loved to paint and did ceramics on Thursday nights. Beverly liked to knit, garden and play Bunco with the "Shoreway" girls. Her favorite music was the oldies classics and new country. On T.V. she liked to watch HGTV, and reality- makeover T.V. shows. Beverly was described to be creative, social and easy going. She was also generous and selfless, as she always put others first. Her most favorite saying was "I love you to the moon and back." Beverly will be deeply missed and she will always be lovingly remembered by her many friends and family.
