Survived by children, Sylvia Coppeta, Michael Troiano; daughters-in-law, Susan Troiano, Joan Troiano; grandchildren, Mark (Debbie) Lawrence, Chris (Linda) Lawrence, Lynn Marie (Scott) Garlock, Leigh Ann (Tom) Pothaczky, Jennifer (Brad) Batz, Karen (Joe) Chiccino, Kristin Connor; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Ercolano; several nieces and nephews; and dearest friend, Elaine Passero. Services Carmella's visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). Her funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2600 W Ridge Road, Rochester, NY. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. Additional Information Carmella was born and raised in Rochester, NY and grew up on Truss Street. She was 1 of 9 children. She attended Franklin High School, but left 1 year before graduating to take care of home as her mom died when Carmella was only 11 years old. She met her husband at Loces Tailor Shop and always enjoyed her family. She loved Christmas and holidays and family picnics. Her favorite activities included reading, sewing, cooking, and baking. She enjoyed romance novels, Amish books, watching Lawrence Welk and Wheel of Fortune. Family and friends would best describe Carmella as traditional, loving, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, quiet but always engaged, and having a calm personality. Carmella will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
