Carol M. Knapp

Rochester: Passed away December 2, 2024 at age 79. She is predeceased by her husband, Melvin R. Knapp. She is survived by her daughter, Sara (Timothy) Chaplain; grandchildren, Amanda (Eric) Taylor and Nick Chaplain; great-grandchildren, Kaedence and Aaliyah Taylor; brother, Paul Cushman; special friends, Megan Lute and Joseph Stotts.

Carol worked as an LPN in the surgical unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, later at the Rochester Presbyterian Home and retired from the American Red Cross. Post retirement she continued to serve the community through Lifespan.

Carol’s life story will be shared during her visitation at the funeral home, (1411 Vintage Lane, between 390 & Long Pond Rd.), Tuesday, December 10th, 11 AM to 12 PM, where her funeral service will be held at 12 PM. In honor of Carol and her favorite color, please wear something green. Private burial in Reed Cemetery, Oakfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sonnenberg Gardens, Blue and White Garden or Highland Conservatory.
